What’s the best and worst thing about being a porn star?
Kat Dior: The best thing is I get to be open about my sexuality. I can be myself, talk about sex and my body without my industry thinking it’s taboo. I don’t have much of a filter, and that’s okay in this business. The worst thing is when non-industry people judge me for my career choice. I’m always prepared to be criticized when I mention doing porn. Either people are accepting, or they’re rude and judgmental. It’s like walking on eggshells, telling people.
How did you come up with your porn name?
KD: My best friend at the time helped me. My dancer name was Dior, and my friend chose Kat because I would meow randomly and act like a cat. So I almost made it Dior Kat, but she talked some sense into me, and I settled on Kat Dior.
What are your best and worst physical features?
KD: The best would be my ass, probably. [Laughs] I love my ass; it’s so fun to play with! My worst? I try not to think negatively about my body. No woman should. I love all of me.
If you won the lottery, would you quit porn? What would you do?
KD: If I won the lottery, I wouldn’t quit porn, but I most definitely would travel around the world and have sex on different monumental landmarks.
