Q: What’s the best and worst thing about being a porn star?
Marica Hase: I can get many different experiences worldwide, especially becoming a magazine centerfold, one of my best experiences. Worst? I am always afraid that I can’t guess tomorrow. Nobody knows when I can get my next book. If I could, I would have a shoot every day. I love my work.
Q: What are your best and worst physical features, and why?
MH: Best? I am happy, and I love everything about myself.

MH: No, I don’t think the industry rightfully underrated me as a performer. However, evaluating it is too difficult for me. Because each talent expression is very different in Japan and America, some American people still can’t understand my expressions.
Q: Who are some of your favorite directors to work with, and why?
MH: I love James Avalon. I usually portray an “Asian” girl in the movie, but these directors always give me an opportunity to play so many different characters.
Q: When doing a girl-girl scene, how do you deal with working with a girl who’s not into girls at all?
MH: I enjoyed working with girls. Each scene partner is different; it gives a new experience. I don’t know of any girls that aren’t into other girls when performing.
