Q: What’s the best thing about being a porn star?
Cory: The best thing about being a porn star is the dress-up: hair, makeup and playing personalities other than myself. I know you’re thinking, “is there really a difference between Cory Chase and who I really am?” No. However, I get to play all kinds of different characters. I get to star as a superhero, police officer, mother, daughter, dominatrix, and submissive in a lot of the videos I make for my own productions. I like the variety and challenge that comes with that, sometimes I play multiple charterers in one day.
Q: What is the worst thing about being a porn star?
Cory: The worst thing about being a porn star—which I’m sure is something every actress goes through—is the lack of privacy. Once your life is out there on the screen and internet, it’s hard to get away. I don’t have many issues with fans out in the public that come up to me and demand things. I am so happy my fans are respectful in that way. I also find with social media and fan interaction that it is hard to disconnect. The world has gotten so much smaller with the internet. It’s crazy that I can interact with fans on the other side of the world, at all hours of the day.
Q: How did you come up with your porn name?
Cory: I always loved the name Cory. I like that it isn’t a feminine name and I have always been more of the tomboy type of gal. Chase came from the fact that I was already married when I got in the industry and that the only thing my fans could do was chase me.
Q: What would you say is your best and worst physical feature and why?
Cory: I love my body and I work hard at keeping it in shape. I watch what I eat, but I also don’t deprive myself of things that I crave or want. I am a big believer in portion control. I am in the gym working out for about 30 minutes a day, 3-5 times a week. I do high-intensity training that combines weight training and cardio at the same time. As far as my worst feature goes, there are little things here and there that I don’t like, I wish I could change. At the end of the day those are the things that make me who I am and I would not change it for the world.
Q: Do you masturbate often? Who or what do you think about when you masturbate?
Cory: I do masturbate often. I make a lot of custom masturbation videos for my fans. I masturbate to the thought of their big, large cocks, my sexy body and the act of my fans being cuckolded. In my personal life, I usually don’t have to do it at all. I get enough of it at “work” or having sex.
Q: What sexual fantasies have come true for you since you started working in porn?
Cory: Well, in the beginning, I would say I was pretty vanilla and I didn’t have many sexual fantasies. I would have to say that porn has opened me up to sexual fantasies. I have found that I enjoy anal. I have found that I love masturbating underwater. I have learned there are all kinds of fetishes, fantasies, and role-playing that have been some really great turn-ons. It was so overwhelming; I felt like I had to separate from myself just to experience it fully.
Q: Ever had threesomes, group sex or involved in an orgy before you got into porn?
Cory: No, I was pretty plain Jane when it came to sex before porn. It didn’t take much for me to get off and I didn’t really get bored JUST having sex. I actually didn’t have many sexual partners before porn. Maybe a half dozen.
Q: Do you like being naked? What’s it like having a job where you can be naked at work?
Cory: I love being naked. I think it’s also, in part, that I hate doing laundry. If you’re naked all the time, then laundry isn’t an issue. In another life, I could defiantly see myself living in a nudist colony. I love having a job that allows me to be naked. I actually am a bit disappointed when I have been on some sets where we have a lot of location changes and I have to get back into clothing just to move somewhere else. I’ve also done some scenes in the past where a lot of my clothing stays on the entire movie and I felt like I wasn’t able to fully enjoy the experience.
Q: Would you rather win an award for your acting or your sexual performance?
Cory: I would like to win one for both, but that’s not what drives my performances in movies. I want to do my best in both aspects of my performance, where the fans just love my work.
Q: Do you feel you’re underrated as a performer or feel you’ve been acknowledged by the industry—and rightfully so?
Cory: I do feel underrated because I have paved my own path in the adult industry. I’ve had the typical porn career. I’ve worked with so many other production companies throughout the U.S. and then branched out and started making my own work. I got into this business doing my own thing and have been in the industry for many years because I have done my own thing. I work for my fans and try to give them what they want…within reason. I’ve had several requests from fans that I just can not do. I do find with the new direction porn is taking, in the self-production realm, that I’m being recognized as a leader in the custom porn world.
Q: Who are some of your favorite directors to work with and why?
Cory: I’ve loved working with all the producers I have worked with recently. I think I am pretty easy to work with and take direction pretty well. B. Skow with Girlfriends Films and Brazzers and Dan, the creator of Girlfriends Films, have been amazing.
Q: When doing a girl-girl scene, how do you deal with working with a girl who’s not at all into girls?
Cory: It’s hard at times and sometimes you just have to throw it all on her to show her what it takes to make a great scene. At the end of the movie they usually come up to me and say that they’re not really into girls and they were very surprised at how they felt after the scene and how comfortable I made them feel about themselves. I have to say I was the same way when I first started. I did not have any experience with a girl before porn and my first scene was very awkward, but the model did the same to me as I do to others now.
Q: Name one porn star who’s retired that you wish would come out of retirement just so you could do a hot scene with?
Cory: I am going to name two because they are both amazing. Lisa Ann and Sasha Grey!
Q: Are porn cliques real?
Cory: Yes, porn cliques are real. They wouldn’t be cliques if they weren’t real. I don’t think I’m a part of any porn cliques. I think I’m pretty vanilla outside of porn. I work too much on my own productions to fall in any of the categories.
Q: Which of your movies are you most proud of?
Cory: I’m pretty proud of them all. I do try my hardest at any clip or movie I make, but I do think they have been your basic scenes. You have your intro, build up to sex, climax, and money-shot finish. I have a few private collection custom videos that will never be seen. Those are probably my best acting work.
Q: What does the future hold for you?
Cory: Working with other production companies and hopefully, a full-length parody movie, either made by myself or someone else.
Q: Anything you’d like to say in closing to our readers?
Cory: I love you guys! I have been in this industry since 2005. I have no plans on leaving it and will continue to make the videos you want. I know with all the tube sites and ways to get free porn out there, it’s so tempting to go that route, but if you do not purchase your porn and stay interactive then the quality of porn will continue to decrease. So stay active and pay for those videos and memberships, and support the porn stars you love.
